Installation

The complete operation manual for the HT22E tuner will be made available for all Paradigm Multimedia contracted integrators. The manual will take an installer through the step by step functions and programming of the HT22E tuner. A special IR remote, along with the IR extender, allows the installer to navigate through the on-screen OSD prompts to easily set up the channel selections and other various settings that may be unique to the facility. Once a HT22E tuner is completely set to the unique needs of the customer, this same tuner interface box then becomes a master unit that can be used to clone other tuners, duplicating the same settings for all HT22E tuners. Additionally, in the future, when this same facility requires additional LCD televisions, the settings from an existing HT22E tuner can be sent by way of the internet to Paradigm's factory via the RS232 port of the tuner. This information can then be used to preset new HT22E tuners. This same feature can also be used for any possible trouble shooting that may be required. With the ability to see inside the HT22E unit, the factory can help with any and all diagnostic issues.

Where to install the HT22E
The actual fabricated tuner “box” has dimensions of 5”x5”x1.75” and can literally be mounted anywhere. The most preferred location is utilizing the 100mm spacing of the tabbed holes of the “box” which is the exact dimension of a typical VESA standard mounting bracket. This allows the installer to mount the box directly in back of the LCD. Alternate locations are next to the outlet, the wall behind the LCD, or a drop ceiling.
